FAMILY VACATION IN SAALBACH HINTERGLEMM: GUEST LUKAS TELLS US

When I was at Barbarahof for the first time, I still had to take my pacifier with me. Now I’m a little bigger and still like the hotel just as much! May I tell you about my family vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm?

WHEN EVEN HIKING IS FUN….

Admittedly: I sometimes find hiking quite dull. But on a family vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm, it’s fun! There are many exciting paths that also make children run along cheerfully. On Kodok Mountain I have already twice solved the riddles of the adventure trail and returned Montelino the clown his cap.

Almost even better was our trip to the Wirtsalm last year. They were accompanied by a real mountain guide and there were many children from the hotel. With my friend René I made bows and arrows in the forest and at the alpine hut we had a delicious bacon snack.

Sometimes we also go cycling on our family vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Bike and helmet can be borrowed from the hotel and then just kicked off until the wind whistles in your ears. I’m always the fastest and mom sometimes has to slow me down because I love to whiz down even steep forest paths.

We have also been to the Käpt’n Hook adventure pool a few times. There is a tube and tire slide, a “washing machine” and a pirate ship. You also don’t have to pay an entrance fee at all when you’re at Barbarahof. There we always get a card with which we can ride the mountain railroads for free and experience great things.

YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A GARDEN LIKE THIS!

One of my favorite places at Hotel Barbarahof is the garden – but it’s big too! Dad always says, vacation with children is very relaxed in Saalbach. For us kids, in fact, there is a huge playground in the garden, where it is never boring. On my family vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm, I balanced over a slackline for the first time and did a somersault on the trampoline. Sometimes dad comes along and plays table tennis with me. And when my friends and I get hot from frolicking outdoors, we jump in the pool and swim around.

In the summer there is also a barbecue in the garden. Roland from the hotel can grill the best sausages! I also like the fire ring, and of course the torchlight hike, which is part of the summer program every year. All guests are allowed to participate and there is a lot for families.

NO FEAR OF RAIN

Rainy weather on vacation is stupid, but not at Barbarahof. When the sun is not shining during the summer vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm, it’s simply off to the children’s room to play. I used to build there with Lego blocks and climb up the little climbing wall. Now I’m more into foosball and the other games. My favorite is the children’s movie theater, which also has juice and popcorn. And when I’m bigger, I can even go to the sauna! Oh yeah, I haven’t told you about the Pumptrack yet. It’s not for foul weather, but it’s really cool in the summer. On it, children can also pump like the big boys for the first time and maybe even practice small jumps. Well, and if you still don’t believe that a family vacation in Saalbach Hinterglemm will please every child, then you have to visit the Barbarahof yourself!
