World Games of Mountainbiking

From the 6. to the 9. September 2012, the world championship starts again for all amateur mountain bikers. For the fourteenth time the amateur world championship starts in the disciplines of marathon, cross country, downhill and dual-eliminator.

Around 1,000 participants from 20 nations are expected to attend the World Cup championships.

The disciplines:

• Marathon: 80.44 km and 3678 hm
• Half Marathon: 42.77 km and 1980 hm
• Marathon Short Round: 31.00 km and 1,160 hm

Participants may decide during the race, whether they do the long Marathon (hm 3678) with 80.44 km, the half marathon with 42,77 km (1,980 hm) or do the short-marathon with 31 km (1,160 meters).
